Resumption Date for FUTA 2016/17 Academic Session Kicks Off.

This is to inform the general public and all the students of the Federal University of Technology Akure, (FUTA) that the school management has approved the commencement of the 2016/17 academic session.



In the highlight of the FUTA academic calendar for the first semester released by the office of the registrar Dr Mrs. Modupe Ajayi online registration will begin on Monday December 12, 2016 for all students.


Old and fresh students are expected to visit the University official website to complete their registration formalities and they have also been warned to be wary of conducting the registration through unauthorized and unofficial websites and individuals.


However the students are expected to arrive the campus on Tuesday January 3rd 2017 while the Matriculation ceremony for new students will take place on Friday January 27, 2017. The cut-off date for the completion of registration for the academic session by all students is Friday January 20th 2017.


All the students of the institution are therefore advised to ensure that they complete their registration before the closing date and should have all necessary documents in their possession.
