The Global Online Distance Learning Masters Scholarship will be available to postgraduate students pursuing any distance learning Masters’ program offered at the University. Each scholarship, which is full tuition, will be awarded to students who satisfy the requirements slated by the institution.



Eligibility


Applicants should already have been offered a place at the institution and should have accepted or intending to accept the admission. Applicants intending to study a distance learning program are only eligible to apply if that program is part of a distance learning Masters’ program. Applicants should check this with the School. The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit. Scholarship applicants must have, or expect to obtain a UK first class or 2:1 honors degree at undergraduate level or the equivalent on the international levels.


Citizens of the following countries are eligible for this scholarship:   Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Dem. Rep. of Congo , Côte d’Ivoire, Eritrea, Ethiopia, The Gambia , Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, India, Kenya, Dem. Rep .Korea, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao PDR, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mongolia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, São Tomé and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Togo, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Rep of Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe

Number of awards
A total of four (4) masters scholarships are available


Sponsorship duration
Each scholarship will cover a period of three years.


Scholarship benefits
each scholarship will have a total value of and cover the full tuition. This is a FULL tuition award.


Method of Application
Eligible applicants should complete an online application. Please note you will not be able to access the online application form unless you have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh. The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd, the university’s web based information portal. When logging in to MyEd, you will need your University User Name and password. It is important to visit the official website for complete information on this scholarship and also to access the online application portal, MyEd.
