About JAMB : According to Wikipedia,The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB), which started in the year 1978, is a Nigerian entrance examination board for tertiary-level institutions and also board conducts entrance examinations for prospective undergraduates into Nigerian universities,polytechnics,monotechnics and colleges of education.

On 1st July, 2017 , the Joint Admission & Matriculation Board ( JAMB ) , conducted a supplementary JAMB exam for candidates whose results were cancelled in connection with lapses from the CBT centres and also candidates who were unable to take the exam but were registered for it. However, JAMB at the initial stage said the results would be released within 24 hours after the exam , but the reverse is the case, as it has been over two ( 2 ) weeks now without any information regarding the outcome of the exam.
This had kept the candidates in fear, as some are afraid that the results may be cancelled entirely just like JAMB did to many students that were allegedly involved in malpractice.

This is because, the delay in releasing the result of the supplementary exam is setting back the 2017 admission processes.
When asked when the board will release the result, he said they are done with every process and the result will most likely be released on Friday, being 14th of July.
